Small, But Perfectly Formed

The Red Bull Mini Drome is heading back to London and here at Cyclo we can’t wait. Conceived by Red Bull in New Zealand and designed and built in Germany by Velotrack, the team who built the velodrome for the Atlanta Olympics, the micro-wonder is a 1.8m wide track with a lap of just 25m which allows competitors to reach head-to-head speeds of up to 80 km per hour. 100-plus competitors will have the opportunity to qualify in a single timed, 10 lap race on Saturday March 17 with the lucky few progressing to the following day’s finals which takes a single pursuit race format. The events take place at York Hall, Bethnal Green and full details of how to register can be found at: www.redbull.co.uk
