Easy to mistake a book released on April 1 as a mere April Fool’s joke when it goes by the wonderful and whimsical title of ‘The Enlightened Cyclist: Finding the Path to Two-wheeled Transcendence’. But as we know it’s penned by BikeSnobNYC (the alter ego of blogger Eben Weiss) and is the follow up to the widely read and highly praised ‘Bike Snob: Systematically and Mercilessly Realigning the World of Cycling’, we rather suspect no pranking involved. Here at Cyclo we’ve yet to get our hands on an advanced copy, but having enjoyed Weiss’s first outing, along with his blog and column Bicycling magazine we’re pretty sure it will hit all the right spots with us.
