Art of the USA Pro Challenge – Stage 3

Yesterday’s Stage 3 of the USA Pro Challenge – 170.4km from Breckenridge to Steamboat Springs – was won by Cannondale’s Peter Sagan in 4hr 4’18”; giving him his second victory (after day one’s opener) of the tour and his 16th win of the season. Sagan currently sits in third overall place with BMC Racing’s Mathias Frank in second and Lachlan Morton (Garmin-Sharp) retaining his GC lead.

Throughout the USA Pro Challenge, Cyclo is delighted to be bringing you daily works of art from Greig Leach, a one-time amateur club bike racer, participating in the DC and Richmond, Virginia areas of the US, who’s also a talented (and successful) artist sponsored by Richeson Art. His favourite work from Stage 3, entitled ‘Two out of Three Ain’t Bad’ depicts Sagan scoring his second Challenge victory.

To learn more about Greig Leach’s work and for details of his substantial output from this year’s races see greigleach.com and also theartofcycling.blogspot.com To see all of the work from both the USA Pro Challenge and Tour de France that we have featured on Cyclo click here.
