A Scottish Boarders sportive of some repute, named in honour of former Hawick Cycling Club member Ken Laidlaw (who represented team GB at the 1960 Olympic and was, in 1961, the first Scot to ride in the Tour de France) this event comprises three distances of 105, 52 and 22miles making it suitable for riders of most abilities. The long route takes in some magnificent climbs including Roberton Hill, The Swire and The Berry bush. Sign on from 7.30 at race HQ, The Hawick Rugby Football Club (map here) for the 9.00 start.
